MCR Engineering was built on the vision and leadership of Tony [Last Name], the original “M” in MCR. As founder and president for more than two decades, Tony shaped the firm’s culture, values, and commitment to excellence in every project we undertook.

Known for his ability to connect with people and find common ground, Tony fostered collaboration among clients, community members, and design teams alike. He had a remarkable talent for simplifying complex engineering challenges and presenting them in a way that everyone could understand.

Tony’s philosophy was simple but powerful: no one worked for him—we all worked with him. That spirit of teamwork, respect, and partnership continues to define MCR Engineering today.

Though Tony tragically passed away in 2019, his influence remains at the heart of who we are. His legacy lives on through our dedication to integrity, collaboration, and innovative engineering.

Founded in 1997 in Manteca, California, MCR Engineering, Inc. is a full-service civil engineering and surveying firm dedicated to delivering innovative, efficient, and reliable solutions. We specialize in land development, master planning, surveying, underground utilities, water resource design, and construction administration—helping clients bring their projects from concept to completion with precision and care.

From the beginning, our mission has remained the same: to provide exceptional service by focusing on what truly drives project success and to build lasting relationships founded on professionalism, trust, and mutual respect.

Guided by the values established by our founder, Tony Marshall, we continue to uphold a tradition of integrity and excellence.
