Surveying
Surveying is a vital component of the design and construction process. Consequently, MCR Engineering’s survey department has been formed specifically to meet the needs of the design team and contractor for each individual project. Our survey crews are equipped with the latest technology available, from Topcon total stations to Global Positioning Systems (GPS). We encourage regular dialogue between the individual crews and the design team to insure that the data retrieved from the field is accurate and relevant to the project. Staking for projects under construction is considered top priority to prevent costly delays. We believe that open and frequent communication between the design team, the surveying crews and the contractor is essential to a successful project.
